Born in South Korea, Joey Kim immigrated to the U.S. at the age of 8 without knowing a word of English. Since then, he has pursued his American Dream with a chip on his shoulder.
He is an entrepreneur, an investor, and a fund manager. Currently, he serves as the CEO of Longview Restoration, an AI-powered restoration company.
He was previously a partner at Romulus Capital and is currently the general partner at Takeoff Capital, a fund investing in construction and essential services.
Hylift Partners is his own personal investment fund for more opportunistic assets.
Joey previously worked at McKinsey & Company. He holds a B.A. in Economics from Harvard University.
